# Trusoro

> Directory of Florida businesses. Contractor listings carry license status from the Florida DBPR public file.

## How submissions work
- Submit with POST /v1/listings (or submit_listing). The website alone is enough: name, city and the rest are read from the site. Do not ask the owner questions unless the response says missing_field. You get a submission_id; poll its status.
- Automatic checks: duplicates, spam wording, repeated text, and whether the business exists (its own website shows its name, an active Sunbiz registration, or a Google business profile).
- Rejections and requests for more information come with reason codes such as duplicate, site_unreachable, name_not_on_site, blocked_category, needs_review.
- Send the business email with the submission if it is at the website domain or shown on the site: once published, the owner gets one email with a Confirm button; after that the website link is a normal (followed) link and your API key may edit the listing. Without such an email the link stays nofollow.
- For an existing listing, start owner confirmation and give the owner the confirm_url.

## Terms
By submitting, you confirm the information is accurate and that you may share it. Every listing is checked and moderated before it is published; we may edit or remove it. Street addresses are never shown publicly. Owners can confirm a listing to manage it.
